So, on our first raid of Stormblood, inside of one lockout, the Jiffy static of Cactuar killed O1S at around 7:33 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Tuesday, July 19th, 2017.
We’ve had a roster change since our A12S clear, so I think it was great for morale to charge in with our new healer Surter and get that first clear! ~
It was also basically only my second time going into a raid completely blind, knowing only what we had seen in normal mode (the other time I went in completely blind was my first time raiding back in A5S lol).
It was also my first experience streaming a raid, so unfortunately somehow the video didn’t save. We do have the parse and pics.
After our kill, which happened only about an hour into our raid, we jumped into O2S and consistently got to the Long Drop knockback, which was the first thing we couldn’t quite figure out blind. Now that we’ve seen how other groups have dealt with that, I’m confident a clear will be forthcoming very soon.
